summer flowers against a stone wall

These summer weeks see me taking a pause from my regular blog musings.

And to offer you the chance to reflect and catch up.

I have been writing a blog for many years.

On my website, there is a lot of inspiring content available that I would love you to visit and enjoy

I have no idea what your summer looks like. But it is quite possible that this year might see you going through some sort of transition

Perhaps you are changing job or moving house. It may be that you have children, and there are changes afoot for them – starting or leaving school, or heading off into the Big Wide World.

Transitions can hit us hard.

I have written a whole series on navigating transitions well, based on our own experience, and you can read more of that here and here.

If you are facing an Empty Nest, do please read my encouragements here from my heart to yours as this season approaches.

And if you have children, whatever stage they are at, there is much to be comforted by in these words about feeling all the feelings, and also celebrating the EXTRAORDINARY job you have done as parent to the child in question. Please give yourself the kudos you deserve and celebrate with these words here

Emotions can be managed.

sunset over the seaTalking of emotions, that is also a subject I write about a lot. As you reflect and catch up, give yourself a bit of space to learn how to regulate your emotions. We do not need to fear them, they are simply giving us information and we can learn to pay attention and grow through what we notice.

Detachement is a useful tool, more on that here

And an ever popular post on what is and is not ours to control is a great way to connect again with yourself and what your energy is directed towards

All of this takes courage – more on that here, at the start of a whole series on what Courage looks like in different situations.

Thank you again for reading my musings, and enjoy this time to reflect and catch up.
